Intervento di Jennifer in consilgio 

Buona sera signore e signori il mio nome é Jennifer W Kamara vengo dalla Sierra Leone e vivo al CAS Montello, che purtroppo sta per chiudere.

Questa è la ragione per cui siamo qui oggi. 

A nome delle donne della Montello sono venuta qui oggi per dire perché non vogliamo la chiusura del campo. 

Vorremmo continuare a stare a Milano perché qui i bambini hanno iniziato la scuola e fatto amicizia. Qui abbiamo amici, facciamo volontariato, alcuni di noi lavorano o seguono corsi professionali o di lingua italiana. 

Per quanto mi riguarda io porto avanti la mia passione per la moda e partecipo a Miss Africa Italia che sará questo novembre. Smettere di vivere a Milano, significherá perdere tutto quello che avevamo fino ad ora.

Le nostre pratiche per ottenere i documenti le abbiamo avviate a Milano e continueranno qui, anche se verremo spostati in altre cittá.

Non vogliamo perdere tutto quello che abbiamo intrapreso e ricominciare da capo, sarebbe stressante e frustrante. Saremo mentalmente, socialmente e fisicamente disturbati per esempio, mia sorella è malata, preoccupata, non riesce a mangiare a causa della paura del trasferimento. Socializzare con le persone ci ha aiutato a imparare l’italiano più velocemente. 

Vorremmo provare a farvi capire perché vogliamo restare. Grazie.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen i am Jennifer W Kamara a Sierra Leoneian who live in progetto Montello which is about to close. This is the reason we are here today . Unbehalf of the women in Montello I stand here today to say why we dont want the closure of the camp. Also we need to stay around Milan because we go school here especially the children start school here. Here we have friends and also we are part of zona 8 solidarity, we do volunteering, we have jobs some have courses and as for me am into modelling and I will be computing for miss Africa Italy which is on November so if we go out of Milan we will loose everything we had till now.

Our document process started in Milan and we’ll continue here even if they move us . We don’t want to loose everything we worked for and start all over again it’s stressful and frustrating. We will be mentally, socially and physically disturbed for example my sister is sick, worried , stressed , she couldn’t eat because of the fear of the transfer . By socializing with people we have been helped to learn the Italian faster. So please try to understand why we want to stay.Thank you.

Buonasera fratelli e sorelle, madri e padri.
Sono qui per rappresentare i Black Panthers FC una squadra di calcio formata da migranti, che ha sede qui a Milano. 

L’abbiamo creata perche ci aiutasse a costruire amicizie, inoltre ci ha dato occasione di conoscere questa cittá e le persone che ci vivono. 

Oggi il nostro più grande problema è che abbiamo letto sui giornali che ci vogliono spostare fuori da Milano. Questo rovinerà tutto ciò che abbiamo costruito, e ci rende tristi da giorni.

Chiediamo a tutt* voi di aiutarci e apprezzeremo tutto ciò che può aiutarci a risolvere questo problema.

Good evening brother’s and sister’s mother’s and father’s 

I am here representing the

Black Panthers FC a football team formed by migrants here in Milano.

We create it to help ourselves to build friendship with the citiziens and gave us opportunities to know Milan and the people who lived here.

Today our biggest problem is that we read on the newspapers that they want to divede us in different place outside Milan.

This will spoil us from everything that’s why since days we are sad.

We will appreciate everything that can help us to solve this problem.
